Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT) is owned by Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) and Mubadala
under the purview of Department of Transport (DOT).
Abu Dhabi Terminals play an important part in the economic development of the UAE.
It allows the country to connect globally through its sea network and well equipped
sea ports.
Abu Dhabi Terminals comprises of three main ports. Mina Zayed the main gateway for
container and general cargo vessels, Musaffah located in the heart of the industrial
city and the Freeport catering for smaller vessels, tugs, barges and service crafts.
Mina Zayed is located in the North-East section of Abu Dhabi.
It covers an area of 510 hectares and contains 21 berths with depths ranging from
6 to 15 meters and a total berth length of 4,375 meters. In addition Mina Zayed
has over 143,000 m2 of covered warehousing space and cold storage facilities with
a capacity of 20,000 tons.
