Abu Dhabi Port Operating Company PJSC - Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT) complies with the requirements of the following international standards to effectively manage and control its Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) obligations:

 

  • ISO 9001: 2008 – Quality Management Systems
  • ISO 14001:2004 – Environmental Management Systems
  • OHSAS 18001:2007 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

The commitment of Abu Dhabi Port Operating Company PJSC - Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT) to quality, health, safety, environment and security starts with the top Management of the company, but it is the responsibility of everyone in the organization, including the newest recruits. This commitment is vital to the continued enhancement of its reputation and image, and the maintenance and expansion of its reputable customer base.

 

ADT has established and implemented QHSE policies, which states the company’s vision and commitment towards the health and safety of its employees and the surrounding people; protection of the environment; the quality of its products and services; and compliance with client and legal requirements.

ADT’s top management has committed itself to the development and implementation of the QHSE Management System, to provide evidence and to involve all employees of ADT in the process. Top management provides strong, visible leadership and actively participates in the continual drive toward a corporate culture that places QHSE as equal in importance to the other critical business objectives. As a result of this commitment, ADT achieved 2 million man-hours LTI free in August 2014.
