Since the official inauguration on 12/12/12, Khalifa Port Container Terminal (KPCT) has grown to support the local market with around 20 container line services that connect Kizad (Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi), Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE with the world markets.
KPCT features the latest technology and has been designed to accommodate the largest container vessels. The initial throughput capacity is 2.5 million TEU container traffic, with a master plan that caters for up to 15 million TEUs as and when this is required by the market.
