Container Terminal

Khalifa Port is the region’s first semi-automated terminal and has a quay length of 3.2 kilometers for container terminals, with six ZPMC quay cranes with 22 TEU outreach, a single trolley due to manned strads waterside, 22 Kone ASC stacks and 20 shuttle carriers. The first phase of development has a planned capacity of 2.5 million TEUs.

The Mina Zayed container terminal contains four berths with a quay length of 980 meters, and five Panamix gantry cranes and six railmounted gantry cranes (RMG). The facility’s total capacity is 38,249 TEUs and 12,884 ground slots. The container terminal operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
